Chamber of architects in Lower Saxony
When I was 15, I stood in front of the Fagus-Building in Alfeld – and my eyes got bigger and bigger, actually very big. The Fagus logo – as I learned later, it had been designed by Max Hertwig – emblazoned the chimney of this stunning building. The building itself clearly bore the handwriting of Walter Gropius. A perfect combination between typography and architecture.
I wanted to do the same. Design a logo that emblazons a building. This is how my professional aspirations to study graphic design developed. By cooperating with the Chamber of Architects in Lower Saxony my dream to connect typography and architecture came true. It couldn’t have been better.
